Description

This package contain the classes estimating the pixel hit position and the respective errors. The EDProducers read a SiPixelClusterCollection and store a collection of SiPixelRecHits.

Unit tests and examples

An example of configuration file is available in test/makeRecHits.cfg. An example for reading the pixel RecHit collection is given in test/readRecHits.cfg.

Status and planned development

Stable. Roughly same functionality as in ORCA. Missing feature: correct position estimation for clusters including large pixels.
