This package is part of the Simulation Validation Suite. It produces histograms for validating hits and clusters reconstructed in the silicon tracker.

• SiPixelRecHitsValid Pixel tracker rechit validation class.

Unit tests and examples

To run the pixel rechit validation: cmsRun test/SiPixelRecHitsValid.cfg.

To run the strip rechit validation: cmsRun test/SiStripRecHitsValid.cfg.

Status and planned development

In progress. Missing features: histogram comparison with reference, OVAL.
